A Church Family Night that was to be held on Seven Acres on Fri., Aug. 19, from 6 - 10PM has been POSTPONED, and will be rescheduled for the early fall.
A Church Block Party will take place on the lawn next to the hall (inside the hall if it rains) this Sunday, August 21st, from 6- 8PM. There will be music, food and games. Admission is FREE. Contact Deb Silowka (609-918-0249) if you'd like to lend a hand. It is our hope that this event will be a truly positive and powerful way to bring the community together, as it breaks down barriers and gives the opportunity of fellowship with our neighbors.
Archbishop Michael will be making an Archpastoral Visit on Sun., September 4th. We will be greeting His Emminence at 9 am, with a Heirarchical Divine Liturgy to follow. Afterwards, a luncheon, hosted by the Parish Council, will be held in the hall, during which everyone will have the opportunity to meet and greet Vladika.
A Parish Picnic, hosted by the Men's Club, is set for Saturday, Sept. 17, on Seven Acres, from noon - 5:00PM. Traditional picnic fare will be served; there will also be lots of fun things to do for both children and adults or you can choose to simply kick back and relax. A wonderful afternoon is planned.
